1) Choose A Topic/Niche- First an foremost very important step to make a blog is to first find a niche or topic that you know a lot about it and you can go on and on writing blog post without getting bored

Don't just choose a topic which you don't know enough because you will get bored after few days So best option is to choose a topic/niche that interest you 

Dont think about making money by blogging at this point of time Yes you can make very handsome amount of money by doing blogging but to reach at that point first you have to make your blog successful

So leave that part for now and just sit and think about the topic which you like most and create a blog depending on that niche

2)Choose Between Free or Paid Hosting- Many of you must be knowing that you can start a blog either by using free hosting service like Blogger or by using you own self hosted blog on Wordpress

But my best advice is to go for self hosted wordpress blog because you will have complete control over your blog layout and functionality Unlike Blogger you don't have complete control over you blog why because its free service by blogger you will get domain like youdomainname.blogspot.com which does not look good

But if again you don't have that much budget you can always start a blog with free blogger hosting service and later on you can move your blog to wordpress and export all your blog posts and comments But if you have some cash and are really serious about blogging then go for wordpress because wordpress is best blogging platform and its has lots of free plugins which is one best lacking feature in free blogger blog

3)Find Domain Name- Now that you know a topic and which platform to use for blogging, it's time to 

find domain name for your blog which will give more professional look to your blog There are many websites by which you can buy domain name but go for good reliable company to buy domain name and Godaddy is most popular domain and hosting provider in world

Before Buying domain name for your blog please take some time out and think a domain name which will clearly describe your blog niche or topic in such a way that you visitors can get a ideas of what they are supposed to get by visiting your blog Try to choose short, easy to remember and  keyword rich domain name

4) Find Web Host For Blog- Ok Good Job now that got your domain name for your first blog it's time to find a good reliable web host for blog which will host your blog files and contents I would recommend to choose web host which provide one click installation for wordpress specially if you don't know how to manually install  wordpress on host server

There are certain good web hosting websites which provides good hosting services and one click installation service with inexpensive hosting plans such as GoDaddy, Dreamhost and Bluehhost
